Influenced by rock, metal, gothic abroad, the band wants to express Japanese sentiment and nostalgia. Because of this, we dare to strain at using Japanese in all of our songs. The sound is hard, heavy and melodious, catchy and not an imitation but the original.

Japanese spelling of Rikugo(pronounced as 'rick go') consists of two letters, 'riku ' and 'go'. In this case,'riku' means 'six', and 'go' means 'to meet'.
The meaning of the name is the universe, where the six elements in the physical world, east, west, south, north, heaven and earth, meet one another.
In addition to the spatial meaning above, there is another hidden meaning, pleasure, anger, sorrow, ease, life and death. Consequently the word means the world made from both physical and mental elements.
Nevertheless, in this 'world' the mental aspect is superior through and through and the world exists in everybody's mental world where each ego everybody has is its central part.

Subjective World

The music of Rikugo is a crystallization of a subjective universe made from sounds and words by probing into and discovering the depth of our own mental world.
