| Neo-Zine has been around in one form or another for over a decade. We started out as a photocopy black and white cut and paste fanzine called
Neo-Barbaric! The zine was started to spread the word about the most unique, extreme, underground, unknown recording styles and artists out there. We have been successful all this time, and plan on continuing our success for a long time to come. We merge material from such diverse styles as noise, punk, death metal, experimental, gothic, industrial, black metal, ambient, darkwave, Neomedieval, shock rock, freeform jazz, joke-core, psychobilly, grind, thrash, hardcore, electronic, minimalist, abstract, spoken word, loop, basement junk, noise rock, horror, sound collage, sound sculpture, symphonic metal, power metal, crust, scum rock, sludge, psychedelic, doom, improv, punkabilly, and home taping. I'll bet there was more. We're all the same underground, we just express ourselves differently.
