| "Coca Cola Soundwave" Impressions: Sie können einfach nicht genug kriegen !!! After a successful year in 2007 Mr Virgin decided, that 2008 is the right year to conquer the whole world with his brave Love Army. Their extraordinary weapons are catchy songs, the color pink, a congenial coolness and a lot of love they have to give. You should surrender before it may be too late. The first big success is the participation in the Coca Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour. Chosen by a jury of established journalists (Rolling Stone, Intro, Uncle Sally’s) out of 1200 bands, they had to stand up to 50 other bands in an online voting and made it in the top 20. The price for these bands was a band clash at Rock am Ring (the biggest festival in Germany). There they could convince the jury again. This opened the doors for the other big German festivals Hurricane, Highfield and Area 4. Nach einem erfolgreichen Jahr 2007 startet die Band nun 2008 ihren Eroberungszug durch das ganze Land, wie immer mit einer ordentlichen Portion Partyfever und einer brandneuen CD im Gepäck ("1,2,3,4,5,6,6,6" - Release 1. Quartal 2008). Auf der neuen CD enstanden in kürzester Zeit zahlreiche Tracks, die zwar nur schwer in irgendwelche Kategorien einzuordnen sind, aber den Rock'n'Roll in die Hüften jedes Hörers fahren lassen. Hell Yeah! Viele neue Fans haben sie auf ihre eigene Art in den letzten Monaten dazugewonnen, aber auch die Alteingesessenen sind sich einig, dass 2008 ein riesen Jahr werden wird. Der erste große Erfolg ist die Teilnahme an der Coca Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour. Dabei sind sie von einer Jury aus Redakteuren etablierter Magazine wie dem Rolling Stone, Intro und Uncle Sally's, sowie Managern von Korn, Billy Talent und den Beatsteaks aus 1200 Bands unter die besten 50 gewählt worden. Beim Online Voting haben sie sich dann in die TOP 20 gekämpft und hatten daher die Ehre auf Rock am Ring live ihr Können zu beweisen. Auch dort konnte die "Love Army" die Jury überzeugen und darf somit als eine von 10 Bands auch auf dem Hurricane, dem Highfield und dem Area 4 spielen. "Dick aufgetragen ist halb gewonnen. Mit dieser oder einer ähnlichen Losung sowie einem Container Partylaune schafften es die jungen Herren aus Worms immerhin bis ins Finale. Ihren Style beschreiben sie kurz und treffend als Rock'n'Roll. Schon im großen Band Clash bei Rock am Ring legte die „Love Army“ ohne Zweifel die denkwürdigste Show aufs Parkett, bei der selbst ihre Vorbilder wie Motörhead, Turbonegro und die Mötley Crüe vor Neid erblassen würden.
