| hello, i'm lonely ghosts. in real life my name is tom denney. apart from being lonely ghosts i also play in this band called help she can't swim . in august 2006 i had quite a bit of quiet time on my hands and so i started to writing new songs and learning how to record them myself. as i wrote and recorded and messed around more and more lonely ghosts was born. i'm still not that good at recording this stuff myself but i'm slowly getting better (i hope). in january 2007 i took lonely ghosts out of my bedroom and started to perfom live. sometimes i play on my own, sometimes i play with friends. it's fun, i'm still working out ways of doing this music live. sometimes i sing songs with just a guitar, sometimes with a big loud backing track, sometimes with live drums, sometimes with pals on bass and guitar, sometimes with a gang of backing singers... anything that seems fun at the time is worth a try. recently i've played with final fantasy, bearsuit, malajube, gay against you, sleeping states and a load more and toured the uk with the tumbledown estate. set a course for adventure. if you put on shows and would like me to come and play then please drop me a line.
