LaMont started rapping when he was about 13. One of LaMont's major hip hop influences at this time was Jadakiss. He idolized him so much he even began calling himself JadaKissLR. That went on until LaMont reached the age of 14 when he finally realized that people would think he's biting off of Jada because of the name so he dropped Jadakiss and stuck with his initials LR. Shortly after this LaMont met his "NET" nigga from New Jersey that goes by the name of "SiQ" but recently changed to "Bankz". LaMont has been running with this cat from site to site, Spoken Thoughts, Holla-Front, Mic-Taktics, Lyrical Assault you name a site and they both were on there as tag team partners. Then Bankz introduced LaMont to Street Verbalz which he will always call his main home. Street Verbalz helped LaMont improve and elevate his career. He was a "text" head for prolly a year and then switched to audio which he battled damn near every netcee on the net. Then he met up with Diamond Cut which now he goes by J-Rise(Alex Curry) and ran with him and the best crew on the net Wyld Kardz.
