| Every once in awhile a group comes along that blends great original songs, fresh eclectic vocals and an unbridled spirit to create a one-of-a-kind musical experience. Lady Antebellum is this experience. Lady Antebellum's leading lady is 21-year-old Hillary Scott. The group's male lead vocalist is 25-year-old Charles Kelley. Although Scott and Kelley were each pursuing solo careers at the time, fate stepped in during the summer of 2006 when the two met at a local music auditon. Shortly thereafter, they hooked up for a writing session joined by 24-year-old Dave Haywood, Kelley's guitarist, long-time friend and writing partner. The talented trio immediately recognized that their combined efforts produced something magical, and they formed what we now know as Lady Antebellum. Great things are on the horizon for this new group. Their energetic live performances, along with well-crafted original songs, have not only captured many fans, but also the attention and respect of many of the biggest artists, writers, and other industry professionals.
