| Hi I am Jade's mom. Which is pretty scary at times (well most of the time)I have lived in South Eastern Michigan all of my life, but for 6 months in 1987 I lived on a ski mountain in Mt. Spring PA.I have had the best parents you could ask for. Growing up we spent our summers camping. Though we had a pop-up camper we mostly stayed in campgrounds that were very rustic. My mom didn't start deer hunting till after my dads diabetes became problem some and really couldn't hunt alone, but yearly my family would pack up and go to our cabin (again very rustic) near Tawas to be with him. Because of this I have a great fondness of the outdoors. I love to camp, I hunt and fish, I love mushroom hunting both in the spring and fall. And for the last decade I have been doing wildlife rehab. Mostly eastern cottontails and fox squirrel babies. But I do injured guys too. One of the best rehab stories was the flying squirrels that I raised. Unfortunately one died a week after I got him, but they were only at the most 4 days old when I received them in the first place. The other was successfully raised and released into a colony of others.If I could wish for one thing would be to have the means to live in the U.P. Of Michigan. Where the most beautiful land is. I'd like to meet:Mickey Rooney I have seen him twice, but I would love to actually meet the guy. Joseph Fiennes, but I would probably die if he ever looked at me. Bill Murray and Robin Williams would also be on my list. If I could go back in time alittle I would also pick John Denver, I seen him in concert about a year before he died and that I am so grateful for. |
