| - IN MEMORY - JIMI and BUDDY in Rock 'n' Roll Heaven IN MEMORY OF THE GREAT BUDDY MILES Dear Friends, I had the great honor of meeting Buddy Miles, and jammin' with him on the 1987 Santana "Freedom" world tour. He was an amazing drummer/musician, and a real gentleman. After I came off stage after trading licks with Carlos on "Blues for Salvador", Buddy told me that he really liked my playing, and we got to chatting. I told him how amazing it was that he had played drums with both of my guitar heroes: Jimi and Carlos. He said, with a great sense of humor, "it's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it" :-) Buddy will be greatly missed by all. Our love and prayers go out to him, his wife and family.
