Lyrics have side-stepped, giving way to dance-instructing "rappers" more concerned with sparking the new "Macarena" than being hailed as an MC.On the outside looking in at such followers is Sir-Da-Fide. Rather than conform to music industry standards, Sir-Da-Fide (born Gregory Mon’tell Johnson) is blazing his own trail to success. Processing his own struggles into his word play and a typical range more akin to the underground than the mainstream, the 23 year-old lyricist has proven that talent can still make waves in the rap game.Born and raise in the steady, confrontational Oak Cliff streets of Dallas, Texas. Sir-Da-Fide grew up lived the regular urban survivor. What was'ent commom,however,was the means by which he carried himself. With his do it my way attitude.
