nachtsmeer was born at a very early age and grew in age with time. Now, years later, nachtsmeer is somewhat older, but none the wiser.

Using a selection of real + virtual / analogue & digital synthis, nachtsmeer experiments with the psychoacoutix of noiziz & screws around with what you think you can hear.

In 2003 nachtsmeer was invited to play for SKAM Records at the All Tomorrows Parties, ATP-03 , manii THANX to Autechre. Opening the Sunday afternoon set for the North Manchester Bedroom Allstars. The live rig comprised of an EMS-Synthi-A, (specially customised by Robin Wood @ EMS in Cornwall), an EDP - GNAT and a DSI - evolver. No ear drums were harmed during this sonic exercise, couldn't hear much anyway as the monitors were a bit dojii.

Currently emabarking on a new musical adventure, with strainj + wonderful NoizToyz,,, so stay tuned for news of the taming of the old+new. A strainj sonic weapon was dispatched on a slow boat to the UK from across the pond on 31 July 2006, so stay tuned for noo auricular gymnastix.
