Performing together since 1993. MATT BROWN R.I.P. (Aug. 18, 2007), is on Bass. We only knew each other off and on, for a couple of years. But musically, it was a good ride. He will be missed. And my all-the-way Homeboy Fo' Sho', THOMAS "FREIGHT TRAIN" WALKER, is kickin' the Drums. He and I have have been hittin' the stage together since 1989. `Nuff said! My pal, JOHN "JUKE" LOGAN (courtesy of Mocombo Records), was kind enough to come in off the porch for a bit and throw down with some extra nice harmonica on the tune LIPSTICK. Thanks to all of you guys... it was a blast.... Let's do it again! .. - Get Your Own Influences: Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that I've ever heard has definitely been an influence on my sense of tempo, lyrics and melody. I can feel Mozart right along with Nat "King" Cole. Django Reinhardt along with George Clinton. Throw in some Hound Dog Taylor, Aaron Neville, The Carter Family with some Too Live Crew & Count Basie. Then, throw in some bluesman Leon Estelle, and you startin' to feel where I'm comin' from.
