| Alethio is a songwriting/recording/performance project comprised of a collective of Wisconsin musicians.
Currently, the band resides in it's founding village of Sturgeon Bay, where one of it's founding members, Tom Schriner-Schmitt
has been a part of the youth music scene for 6 years. It is a region plagued with conformity. However, the recent birth of the
Steel Bridge Song Fest has given the area new artistic life, unlike it has ever experienced. Alethio has a song featured on the
first Steel Bridge Song Fest CD, from SBSF2, called "The Real Deal." Alethio exists to challenge its
audience; to open their minds to a more clear and tolerant state. To think before one acts is something that
seems to have dissapeared from "humane" culture in modern times. Past incarnations included an experimental folk outfit called
"The Lemon Occupation", an electro cover band that played catchy pop COVER songs and few originals taken from a hysterically
maniacal high school teacher's twisted humor, "Werewolves In Training", and the shortly lived "Brokedown Fortune" which was true
roots folk with natural and organic visual and aural enhancement. This project, like all projects has a purpose. It is to unveil
the little recognized truths that exist behind the grand facade of fear, tradition, the contrived, greed, and feelings of
insufficiency and apathy created by the powers that be. Through the most clear and tolerant audio mediums available.

Alethio EP, 2007Alethio is finally releasing the recordings they have been endlessly devoting their time to over the past 4 years in the form of
two companion albums called "The Problem of Evil$"(already available) and "The Solution of Love"(available soon). Two Dance mixes
