| I am entertainment attorney in Miami representing bands, artists, filmmakers, talk-show hosts, etc. I also head up a record label called China Shop Music - just for fun.I went to UC Berkeley and Tulane Law School. I helped launch a radio station -106.1 The Zephyr in New Orleans (aka Christian West) and www.fastband.com on Bourbon St. I did AnR consulting and radio promotion for many years. | Music, travel and politics - it drives me nuts that some people still support the Bush Crime Family run by Bush Rove and Cheney. I respect true conservatives. However if you still support Bush you are not a conservative, you have either been badly fooled or you are just stubborn, incredibly stupid, or ill-informed. If you are rich and just want lower taxes at least that is a valid reason. Otherwise you're a fool. I feel bad for the good "people of faith" that are sticking by these faux-Christians. They are laughing behind the backs all good Christians.I used to do a lot of triathlons having finished twice the Ironman championship in Kona, Hawaii. I'd like to meet:Musicians and bands mostly and people who enjoy discovering and sharing new music. Also authors, artists, lyricists, anyone in the creative arts/entertainment. I enjoy being the attorney for talented people, since I have no talent myself.It's not so much who you'd like to meet, because meeting powerful and famous people is usually a let down. They haven't really anything to say to you, since they don't know you. It's more like, who would I want to go on a weekend bender with: Bono, Keith Olbermann, Bob Marley, Bill Maher, Sofia Coppola . . . Recently I had a long night with Harry Dean Stanton - cool guy. Television:Almost everything on HBO. Also THE DAILY SHOW! Countdown with Keith Olbermann, The Colbert Report. BBC's the Office (Ricky Gervais!). Arrested Development was the funniest show on TV *** bbc America and the history channel. Lost is good but I always seem to miss it. I can't stand Desparate Housewives, Alias or Friends or any reality shows. You ever notice that Jennifer Garner in Alias always looks like Jennifer Garner, just with different wigs and disguises. She can't act but she looks good. Sometimes I watch the O'Reilly Factor until I have to run to the john. It amazes me that their are people that enjoy watching that blowhard. *** cancelled, go figure |

Books:It's hard to find time and it's a pity because I won the reading championship in 2nd Grade by a mile. I won a TV set; makes a lot of sense right? Right now: Armed Madhouse which is how the current Government we have is ruining our country. "Born to Kvetch" - great book on Yiddish. "Let's Not Go to the Dogs Tonight" about a young white girl growing up in Zimbabwe. Orwell's 1984 - I suggest you re-read that right now. |

Heroes:Grandpa Unruh worked 40 years at the same factory and was late once - in a blizzard. I am late more often than not. When I was 10 it was George Brett of the Royals. Funny I see him sometimes and tell him that and it's strange since now we are both "grown ups". I hear of people doing amazing things all the time and I really admire them but wouldn't call them heroes. Like that rock climber who hacked off his arm to get down off the cliff. Man that takes some cojones. |
