| I'm from the old school hip hop, new jack swing and R&B. I talkin' bout derby jackets, NWA, rush to the store to get the newest Jordans, get the new joint for the DJ record store before it comes out in retail stores. We used to cruise without being shot. We used to have house parties to where even people we didn't even know came in, had a good time and made new friends. Fights happened, they shook hands then partied together afterwards. My girl, was my girl and didn't have to worry about some dumbass running up on her. Guys coming in, knowing their game had to be tight, spittin' game to get a girl. We didn't invade their privacy, we walked out of the party to look for privacy. A hit would be playin' and the floor would be packed. People bumped into each other and there would be a sorry and the party would be still going. Neighborhood block parties, DJ house parties, BBQ bring your own mixed tape parties, my girl left me let's get f#cked up parties. We had keg and the only hard drug was weed parties.
