About Me |
|
| Hi, I'm Dom. My parents met at a Troggs gig in Hereford in the early 1970’s. At the age of 13 I decided to learn guitar . I lost one of my fingers in an accident when I was young so it made sense to learn a song I could play with 3 fingers so, coincidentally, I learnt “Wild Thing” and lots of Blues. Having left Hereford for Liverpool as a Beatles obsessed 18 year old, I spent the next 7-8 years on Merseyside cutting my musical teeth. In a bout of misguided optimism I signed some pieces of paper which apparently meant my soul belonged to a European production company for 4 years but it was all good experience! I've been on the telly a few times playing my songs and I played one of my songs live to over 1 million people on BBC National Radio in 2007, although not of all of them bought the song! I've also won a few awards on a website called garageband for the song "Doves" and for vocals and "mood" too, categorically the only time my mood has got me into anyone's good books ............................................................ . ............................................................ . "Dom, you're Cool" Dale Hawkins, Rockabilly Pioneer and member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame ............................................................ . ............................................................ . "Veron's songs are grittily honest and have the gravity of a great songwriter; exactly the sort of stuff that I buy" Paul Carter, Entertainment and Music Editor, Allinlondon.co.uk ............................................................ . ............................................................ . "The Northwest's leading spiritual acoustic troubadour…..draws you in with heart wrenching tales of love, loss and infatuation…an acerbic eye for detail and a whip lash sense of humour." Tony Elliott, Catacoustic UK ............................................................ .. Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!
