| STUNNED was formed in 2003 by lead vocalist, acoustic guitar player James Lyn Banning and Mark Von D on drums. The band produced an indie CD called Only Human. Prior to that James had an extensive career in the western part of Canada. He had the good fortune to play drums with Vancouver based Daytona. The group was signed with Zulu record. The group released there soft more cd wich got played across the country. Feldman & associates booked the band for opening slots with the folowing groups. Across Canada tour with 54-40 and dishwalla as well as one nighters, opening for Loverboy, The Payolas, Joan jet, Rhymes with orange, Mud Girl, The Rose Chronicles, Mistery Machine as well as Warrent, Honeymoon suite, Johnny Winter and David Wilcox. After James returned home to Montreal, He formed Stunned with the drummer Mark Von D. They opened for home town artists such as April Wine, Kevin Parent, Eric Lapointe and the Indie Rock band brighton. Within that period of recording there first demo CD (Wilcy) they graduated to there first full length cd, Only Human.Stunneds sound is meant to convey positive emotion and an electricity that can only be felt through one of their live shows.This band needs to be seen live, they are electric.Soaring melodies and pounding grooving rythms as well as soaring guitar and vocal lines.Request stunned today give us your comments come everybody lets bring music back to the heart for 2009 love stunned |
