| I am a Ph.D Candidate (ABD) at Case Western Reserve University. I have a MA in Sociology from Humboldt State University and a BA in Sociology and a BA in History from the University of Alaska Anchorage. My research program focuses on the intersections of the environment / health / and the community. Thus, I have a board range of interests, that include social epidemiology, Alaskan Native groups, circumpolar health issues/disparities, social-history of healthcare systems in the Northern regions, and disasters, which are employed to understand this health / community / environment intersection.Other interests are: painting, carving, photography, fishing, and reading.
