WHAT HAPPENED?
Rhonda Clemmons is what happened and she has left her signature imprint all over the music industry! When you see Rhonda perform and hear her dynamic vocals, you will understand why she has quickly become a household name!
Home to Rhonda is currently Roanoke, Virginia. Her performance schedule
encompasses a wide area of Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. It also includes Muncie, Indiana and surrounding areas. She has played venues such as the Skyline Bar and Grill, Buddy's Place, Red Dog Saloon, Texas Road House, and Anchor Grill, to name a few. She has performed at a multitude of community sponsored events, and was a guest star on a recent television special. Rhonda's eastern travels have been most impressive. Her performances for Peademont TV, chain restaurant grand openings, Chip and Jo's Restaurant and one of Virginia's most nostalgic landmarks- the Hilltop Restaurant, has enabled her to develop a solid, devoted fan base. Encore appearances are constantly in demand. Because Rhonda has such compassion and a big heart, she also includes a circuit of twelve nursing and retirement centers in her busy schedule.
She started young! At the tender age of three, Rhonda was belting out songs by Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette. She credits her parents with teaching her to play the guitar and for introducing her to music.
Today, Rhonda is part of a trio of Nashville's top songwriters. The Nashville Music Scene and circuit seriously consider her songwriting and mega talent. At the present time, she has songs on reserve by some of the greats of Country Music.
Rhonda recorded and released a CD of original songs in December 2003. In the spring and summer of 2004 she was involved with yet another, recording project. Rhonda's performances are steadily increasing, and she divides her time between performing, songwriting, and preparing material for an upcoming CD project.
Rhonda's versatility defines her talent and she is often referred to as an artist who bridges traditional and mainstream music. So whether it be a love song, blue grass, up tempo, or just a good gospel song you prefer, Rhonda Clemmons will deliver it straight to your heart!
