About Me
It's just wrong, isn't it? I shall try to describe me. I always find self-descriptions the hardest. If I say anything negative about myself, I'm seen as being 'depressed' etc. If I compliment myself, I come across as stuck-up! :S magirawashiiyo! _ Emm, anyway...... let's go party animals! rawr I'm [blank], and I'm 21 years old. I'm here today to say, "I'm a cheese-holic." Remember kids, it's not big and it's not clever to become addicted to cheese. It's just really smelly! Always remember- 'moderation'. I'm an Anglo-Saxon Pict, or you can just say, "I'm British" because that's what I'll say. I'm now 21 years old, but that hasn't helped improve the level of my maturity. "What is it you do?" I hear you ask. Well my curious reader, I don't do a lot- to be honest. I work in a second-hand electronics store called CEX (www.cex.co.uk) on Rose street (the home of all the known buskers in the Universe) in Edinburgh. I would explain the concepts behind CEX a bit more, but you should just go to the website. Some guy was paid to explain their ethos of recycling everyone's unwanted crap. From next September, I intend to be an Edinburgh University student on an Honours degree course in Japanese. After completing that I plan on moving to Japan to teach English- those poor wee bastards don't know what they're getting themselves in to. Well I think I have gabbed on for long enough, and you need to go find something else to do. Stop delaying the inevitable. Bite the bullet, seize the day (Carpe diem) and all that jazz. I hate jazz. Music: I'm tempted to just say rock, but that's incredibly vague. Many genres can be classed as some form of 'rock' music. This perceptively small box has not the capacity to fully list the songs that tickle my interest. I'll just say my favourite band is Guns 'N' Roses, but I'll shake a tail-feather at anything that isn't Guns 'N' Roses.
Movies: Borat!! So funny. Pretty much any of the comic book films, some are good, some are really bad. I love the Superman films, and the Spider-Man films. Spider-Man 3 looks really good. As does '300'. Emm, I can see this taking me a long time to go through every single film I like, so I'll just say, 'I like a lot of films, differing genres' and I'll leave it at that. I've decided I'm going to steal Dale's idea and list my DVD collection. Books: LOTR Trilogy, the Hobbit, and the Silmarillion. The Rebus series by Ian Rankin. The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling (favourite book so far is "Goblet of Fire"). There's countless others, but the limited capacities of this box has been my undoing. Rather than list out all the books I like to read, I thought I'd just pop a wee picture of my book collection on here. It's a bit hard to see what the book titles are, but it's just there to show that I like to read a lot, although my collection is a little small just now- funding!
