Parce que chez certains, la musique est une nécessité absolue, quotidienne, éternelle ; parce que les passionnés finissent toujours par se retrouver ; ceux-là ont monté Youpi Youpi Yeah...

Joe Hell : Chanteur d'Oberkampf ( www.oberkampf.net ) avec lesquels il enregistre « P.L.C. », « Cris Sans Thème » et un Live, puis chanteur de Catch 22 : album « L'Affront National » (New Rose). Il enregistre ensuite un album solo éponyme. Oberkampf est réactivé en 2001 : l'album « Animal Factory » sort en 2003 sur Enragés Production.

Delphine 13 : Forme Les Bolinos, Spider X .. Paris, puis suit une longue collaboration avec Le Baron pour Flesh (Tokyo) et Baron Jive (Los Angeles). Dans le même temps, elle participe à l'album « Sweet FA » de Love and Rockets à la basse et aux choeurs, travaille sur des maquettes avec Nina Hagen ; et monte à Tokyo le groupe Pilar Stupa (3 albums sur 13bis Rcds et Sharira Rcds) De retour à Paris, elle forme Knou en 2001 et écrit la BO du court métrage « Le Garde du Corps » qui obtiendra le Prix Spécial du Jury au Festival de Berlin 2003. Elle travaille actuellement sur un projet avec Naka Koichiro, batteur de Demi Semi Quaver à Tokyo, sous le nom de Silver Lake 96.

Dimi Dero : Ex-journaliste à Rock&Folk, a produit le premier album du Jerry Spider Gang : « Porn in the Bayou ». Batteur pour les Groovers (2 albums, désormais sur le label US Blood Red), batteur occasionnel pour Nikki Sudden (R.I.P.), Penny Ikinger, Noah Taylor et Loene Carmen's Band aux côtés de Delphine 13, Warren Ellis (Dirty Three, Bad Seeds) et Mick Harvey (Bad Seeds), il compose des musiques de films documentaires (diff. Arte et en salles). Il prépare également une compilation « Tribute to Rowland S. Howard ». Enfin, il monte Dimi Dero Inc en tant que chanteur et guitariste.

Jean Zundel : Forme Dazibao en tant que bassiste (3 albums sur V.I.S.A. et Bondage/Zelig, tourn..es en Europe et au Canada) après quelques aventures avec des proto-Innocents puis passe à la guitare chez Dr Knock (1 album), joue avec Fred Alpi et rejoint Knou en 2002. Initie le projet Dave D.Ayspee.

Do Caillierez : Il joue successivement avec Alice Botté, Les Naines Blanches, Les Boyle, Amoroso, Alpha Jerk, Apple Red, Kni Crik (deux albums : « Le Massacre du Printemps » et « Foudre »), Sewing Machine... il forme Knou en 2001.

Après le split de Knou, Delphine, Jean et Do s'associent à Joe Hell pour faire du bruit, et plus si affinités. En effet, ils se mettent à écrire des chansons et à les jouer. Dimi s'impose dès son arrivée comme le moteur qui fait décoller Youpi Youpi Yeah...

Et ensuite ? L'histoire est en train de s'écrire. À bientôt...

Joe Hell: Singer in Parisian punk legends Oberkampf ( www.oberkampf.net ) who record "P.L.C.", "Cris Sans Thème" and a Live; then sings in Catch 22 ("L'Affront National" on New Rose) and records an eponymous solo album. She currently works on a project with Naka Koichiro, drummer with Demi Semi Quaver in Tokyo under the Silver Lake 96 moniker.

Dimi Dero: Former journalist for Rock&Folk, produced Jerry Spider Gang's first album: "Porn in the Bayou." Drummer for the Groovers (2 LPs, now on the US label Blood Red), occasional drummer for Nikki Sudden (R.I.P.), Penny Ikniger, Noah Taylor and Loene Carmen's band along with Delphine 13, Warren Ellis (Dirty Three, Bad Seeds) and Mick Harvey (Bad Seeds), he composes music for documentaries (broadcasted by Arte and in theaters). He is also preparing a Tribute to Rowland S. Howard album. Finally, he forms Dimi Dero Inc as a singer and guitarist.
