Im fuelled by 10 cups of tea a day. I love storms especially at night when im tucked up in bed. I like some poetry every now & then. I love the the beach, it makes me feel at home. Hitting a punch bag is the best way 2 let off steam. I like people to have a good sense of humour (as my friend you may well need one)I could never have enough friends. I dont believe in war. I hate waiting about. I swear to much. I'll do sky diving one day. I love cookies. MY FAVOURITE QUOTES I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. What we think or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only thing of consequence is what we do. I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love. Destiny is not a matter of change, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved. If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well. Kindness is an inner desire that makes us want to do good things even if we do not get anything in return. It is the joy of our life to do them. When we do good things from this inner desire, there is kindness in everything we think, say, want and do. If A Kiss Was A Raindrop I'd Send You Shower, If A Hug Was A Minute I'd Send You Hours, If A Smile Was Water I'd Send You Sea, If Love Was A Person I'd Send You Me. We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. |
