I'd like to meet:***Attention Churches, Pastors, Youth Pastors, Event coordinators - Please read below******I just want to take a minute and share with you my background and explain our ministry. I'm a minister of music at my church and I'm married with 3 kids. God gave me this vision a couple of years back. We have been selling out every event we have here in Dallas/Fort Worth and we are looking to expand this ministry. It's an awesome experience. I mean we have poetry, comedy, stepping, miming and more. We mix it up and that's why it's called the GUMBO.Our Cast is all professionals and we are Christians. Our step team, "The Showtime Steppers", is the hype that the youth really get involved with. They set the tone and get it going. They've been featured on B.E.T. several times on the show "106 and park" and "Spring Bling". They are currently on BET.com right now in the 2007 spring bling section. Our mime team, "Xtreme Xpression" is serious about worship. They will capture you and take you into his presence. We offer something for every generation. I'm a spoken word poet and my age group is geared toward 25-70. I use my real life experiences and how God has brought me through to deal with all type of issues from deliverance to child abuse to building the family and many, many, many more. We also feature a comedian that has been featured on Comic View for the last seven seasons. All his jokes are clean and none are border line or will make anyone fill uncomfortable. He has opened around the country for Steve Harvey and other mainstream comedians. This is the core of the GUMBO, but we usually have an additional artist or two with us. It's a night that you won't soon forget. One Pastor said, "This is fresh air man, Ya'll need to let everyone breathe this. I didn't know this existed in the Kingdom." We opened for a prophet one night from North Carolina. In the middle of his sermon he had me to stand, and he prophesied, "Keith, You will have your own national ministry and series of events all across the world, Tyler Perry will have his and Keith Ferguson will have his -no competition between ya'll, but I want you to know the magnitude of it." So in saying all this, we are trying to get it off the ground.
