I'd like to meet:I am interested in meeting people who are interested in rock music - mainly the era from about 1965 through current. Led Zeppelin is my favoriate band but I am also a big Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix fan as well. What interest me about LZ, SRV, or any other musician is their blues roots.Many of the songs popularized by Zeppelin, Stones, Clapton, Yarbirds, and others find their roots in blues - Robert Johnson is a big source for many of the rockers that came out of the late 60's and early 70's. In later BLOG's I will discuss some of these blues roots.

Books:Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: Tin Pan Alley SRV finesses the first 4:20 minutes of the intro with some incredible volume control. Periodically you'll see Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon look at each other with the look of, 'we didn't practice it this way'.
