About Me |

| Born in Dacice, currently settled in Prague, Kuba Dolezal is a saxophone player for the bands Benedikta , Ondrej Pivec Organic Quartet , Duende and Seven Days (led by singer and songwriter Martina Fiserova . He also appears with Blues Messengers, Doctor PP or Janis Joplin Revival. In the years 2000-2004 he was a member of Jan Korinek and Groove (three CD..s recorded), he also played (on and off) as a part of Renne Trossman Band, from 2003-2005 he was a member of Zaha (he plays on Zaha’s album "Kiss the Rhythm").
Kuba also plays the saxophone and several other instruments in czech Pink Floyd tribute shows "The Wall" (led by Filip Benesovsky) and "The Dark Side Of the Moon" (led by twin brothers Tomas Kaspar and Michal Kaspar).
In 2005 he wrote a series for MUZIKUS magazine ("Rock and Pop Saxophone") and since 2005 he’s been a part of staff at Summer Rock Workshop in Prachatice.
In 2006 he was touring with European Youth Jazz Orchestra ("Swinging Europe 2006 Spring Tour"). Since January 2006 Jakub has been a teacher at Prague’s Jan Hanus ZUS and is also available for private teaching. |
