| Its new! Its powerful! Its refreshing! The Realm of Hip-Hop originality proudly presents to you, Quad Almighty. By combining witty punch lines, lyrical excellence, energy packed delivery, and a conscious message; Quad Almighty has risen to the forefront of the ever-changing music scene. Quad Almighty was exposed to all genres of music at a very early age in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His mid-west style of rhyme is evident, but his most notable hip-hop inspiration comes from the likes of Redman and Talib Kweli, Big Pun, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Dead Prez, Nas, EightBall & MJG, and Common to name a few.
His music career began in 1998 with the formation of a group of emcees who came to be known around the city of Milwaukee as H.A.Z. H.A.Z is an acronym for Hungry and Zooted. Hungry for change but Zooted with contentment, is a slogan the group members used to describe their social disposition. After performing at numerous open-mic events and local talent showcases, H.A.Z began to be recognized around the city for their lyrical abilities.
2000 was a big year. H.A.Z released their debut E.P. entitled "Oral Elations" (B-Boy Universal 2000), and Quad Almighty collaborated with ADI, the lead vocalist of the local Hip-Hop/Soul power house, "A Growing Nation," and released the E.P. entitled "What the Fuck"(B-Boy Universal 2001). Both E.P.'s gained appeal throughout the region by way of a grass-roots promotion campaign composed of performances and album sales in and around the city. Whitewater Radio, 91.7 WMSE, and 860 WNOV helped to amplify the success of both projects.
Shortly thereafter (2002), H.A.Z released the self-entitled L.P. "Hungry and Zooted." The album is loaded with work from some of Milwaukees finest hip-hop producers and takes the listener through the entire spectrum of the Hip-Hop world.
As H.A.Zs fan base multiplied, the group; but more specifically Quad Almighty, earned the opportunity to work with some of the local hip-hop icons including: Taste Emcees, Growing Nation, and Black Elephant.In the fall of 2005, Quad Almighty relocated to Brooklyn, NY and began work on the solo project. He linked up with a Brooklyn native producer by the name of Finsta. Finsta is one half of the hip-hop duo Finsta & Bundy. They began their work in 1993 and over the years have produced many singles. Some of Finsta & Bundys most popular works include: Feel the High pt. 1 &2, Who I Be, and Sunnyside which was released on Big Willie Records, a company out of London.Quad Almighty and Finsta have come together to form a dynamic collaboration. The latest single Head in the Clouds, is a lively and comical tune with a conscious overtone. It is sure to draw the attention of Hip-Hop fans world wide.
All in All, Quad Almighty is a breath of fresh air. The Pop charts are saturated with music that represents similar perspectives; Quad Almighty provides a new outlook on the issues of the day.
