ABOUT DYNAMIC PRODUCER Be sure to check out The 7th Annual Dynamic ProducerConference and the official Dynamic Producer Organization Website: www.dynamicproducer.com How We Started After finding that up & coming music producers didn’t have a source for education or an outlet for their music, I started the first and only music producers’ conference which I named Ear To Da Streets in July of 2002. The first event was a success simply by its existence. About 14 producers actually registered and attended. Notables such as Chivon Dean (founder of Ruff Ryders), Pete Rock, EZ L Pee, L.E.S., and Kanye West came out to show their support and speak to the next generation of aspiring producers. How We Evolved After finding out how difficult it was going to be for new producers to break into the industry, I convened that it was unrealistic for a producer to think that they could attend a single event and all of a sudden BLOW UP! I believed that up & coming producers needed to start treating their prospective production careers more like a business and work at it everyday. In 2003, I decided to create an actual organization that would produce conferences and provide other tools and strategies for up & coming producers. I also changed the name from Ear To Da Streets to Dynamic Producer. I wanted a name that would reflect the direction we were headed and would speak more to the character of the members. Who We Are Today, we are a membership based organization that supports the advancement of up & comings (mainly Hip-Hop and R&B) through Education and Opportunity! Our mission is to foster up & coming music producers through continuing education, career orientation, job opportunities, and community involvement. We are supported by many major labels, executives, and producers/engineers. What We Are Not A GIMMICK, A GUARANTEE, A SELL A BEAT OVERNIGHT SCHEME, A PLACEMENT AGENCY, MANAGERS Membership We currently have over 900 members throughout the United States, Canada, Hawaii, Germany, Sweden, UK, and Japan DP Commitment Our primary commitment is to create platforms for members to LEARN about the history of music, the business behind the music, as well as current events and trends. Our secondary commitment is to provide platforms for members to expose their music to the music industry at large. Lastly we are committed to making the powers that be just give you a chance!
