I'm one of the luckiest kids in the world to have been adopted by her. Raju - despite his disabilities, he's the most hopeful person I've ever known. And because of the hope he holds in his heart, he knows that all the shit he's going through right now will put him where he wants to be in the future. Jessie - my best friend. Our friendship is proof that you don't have to be in close proximity to have a strong relationship. She manages to be there for me when she's thousands of miles away. Beth - she holds her head up high and keeps moving forward. Obstacles come in her way but she doesn't give up.
