| When? This is what countless country music fans have been asking about Patricia Conroy's next album; it also happens to be the first single from her new CD, Talking to Myself, set to be released in 2006. With 8 number one singles and 5 number one videos so far, Patricia continues to raise the bar for country music. One listen to her new CD and you know that this is the same Patricia Conroy with a new direction and a fresh perspective. "I think you can hear that on this CD. It was carefully and lovingly put together and took it's time to complete. It's finally ready and I'm very excited!" Having written numerous songs for both herself and other artists (Michelle Wright, Lisa Brokop, Brad Johner) she wanted to reflect a fresh style that sounded uniquely her own. "I was fortunate to find co-writers who liked all kinds of musical genres and were willing to 'color outside the lines'." Drawing inspiration from artists such as Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Alison Kraus, Shawn Colvin, Rufus Wainwright, and the Beatles, Patricia has put together a collection of songs that reflect all of her influences, and then some. A new growth, a new innocence, a new spark. This is how Patricia sees her latest venture as she continues her musical journey with all of us. With the release of her first single, When, Patricia is poised, once again, to take the country music scene by storm. "I can't think of any other career I could possibly enjoy more than music. I am looking forward to getting back on tour with a new armful of songs. I love being on stage singing and I look forward to seeing everyone this summer." |
