| Astral Travel is the lovechild of Andrew Webb Bauer and his dearest friends, Zachary Kirshner, Danielle Hiscock and Ryan Lotz.
Synthesizing post-rock, shoe-gaze, ambient and IDM influences, Astral Travel has given birth to a sound all their own: Dream-Gaze. With layers of clean, crystalline, delayed guitars over rock-steady hypno-bass grooves and ambient washes of ethereal, angelic-vocals, the Astral Travel sound is immediately recognizable. Their debut album, "The Sound of Light", released on June 14, 2008, brings you a collection of songs that give you a glimpse of their vision: hazy, dream-like vocals that drift in and out of recognition, but forever lulling you into a state of word-less emotion.
