Singer, songwriter, producer and all out commercial crossover dance diva; Yvonne is highly recognized first for her maxi single "Set Me Free" and now, “Silent War”. Her debut album "Silent War" is an international hit that has received rave reviews, "Yvonne hypnotizes her fans with her sexy wit and even sexier voice! .... a sure fire dance hit that will invade every DJs record box without hesitation"(wombmusic.com).Born in a musical household in Syracuse, New York, Yvonne attributes her musical influence to a variety of genres. Her influences include musical styles that vary from classical music, jazz, blue grass and pop to musicians like Pink, Pepper Mache, Tina Turner and Earth, Wind and Fire. From small town U.S.A, Yvonne moved to the Big Apple to study art at the Fashion Institute of Technology and paid her way through school as a model and make-up artist. In the early years of her musical career, Yvonne emerged in the music scene with her own rock-n-roll band that booked regular gigs at New York landmark venues, Tramps, CBCG’s and Dunhill’s. Yvonne’s musical style evolved into a new direction that would soon spark international success.Yvonne’s hits have crossed over from the underground music scene with radio versions for every mix. Her hit maxi singles "Set Me Free” and “Silent War” topped the music charts in over 16 major cities nationally. The single went into high rotation in the hottest clubs and most popular radio stations catching the attention of the scene’s best DJs."Silent War" was remixed and featured on the set lists of the number one house DJ in Belgium, Oliver Gossamer; Strong Island radio personality, DJ Johnny C; Chicago’s DJ Awesome; and resident DJ Eckoh at Club Light in New York City, just to name a few.
