| Following a 2 and a 1/2 year battle with MDS and then leukemia, tenor saxophonist and composer MICHAEL BRECKER passed away on January 13, 2007. Michael's music has had a long time influence on Juan's writing and playing, and we ask you to share in honoring his memory with us by heading over to his website and checking out his music if he is a new discovery for you, or, perhaps if you too are a long-time fan, leaving a little donation to The Marrow Foundation's TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE Fund.
