J-LUV....
It all started in Sheffield in the late 80's when J-Luv got infected by the bug, with a wide range of musical influences she picked up her first bit of plastic. A sucker for a warped Bassline and an infectious beat lead J-Luv to find her niche in the depths of the dirty Bassline music scene.
In 2003 she moved to Leicester to stir up the scene there and spread Luv. Creating her own night...Plastik Dreamz @ Matishe...J-Luv mashed it up on the 1's and 2's and quickly turned the event into the biggest night of the week, pulling in massive crowds and creating an awesome atmosphere.
The story goes on...Now J-Luv is a resident @ Helsinki with her own following. Her reputation has grown imensely in the last couple of years and is well known for putting 110% into her sets and giving the crowd what they want.warming up the night for Lisa Lashes and causing pure havoc on the bank holiday with neal appeal!! Her style deep down dirty tunes with a supremely radioactive atmosphere on the dancefloor. At present, J-Luv has jumped on the Speekafreeka bandwaggon and continuing to grow in stature. On the 9th Sept she kicked out another acomplished set at the Emporium alongside Yousef, future force and the Stanton Warriors. IT WAS DOWNRIGHT FILTH AND THE CLUB WAS ON ITS FUCKIN' HEAD!
2007 is all about Speekafreeka, so if you are a J-Luv virgin and you live for the rhythm...get yourself down and shake ya shit!
Well peeps, after the 9th we thought it couldn't get any better at Speekafreeka...But we went and did it anyway!!!! On the 28th Oct with an outstanding line up including Xpress 2 and Scratch Perverts, J-Luv absolutely hosed em down on the dancefloor with her set with electro slut, Dishing out the sexiest cuts of filthy electro. 'Never seen the club as packed before, it was absolutely banging! The best one so far!' ... Now, with Speekafreeka being voted the No.1 club night in the Midlands, J-Luv is set to be a crucial part of the team who are going to make the Speekafreeka night one of the best in the UK. Chavs need not apply!
