About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4MUSIC. It's my life and it's my wife. Singing is my main bag but DJing, dancing and just good old-fashioned listening are high on my list of priorities. Speaking of high, well you know how it goes, I'm not into anything that's going to stop me living my life, but I ain't shy of a good time. I've been living in Brighton for over 4 years now and it's the first time I've ever felt at home somewhere. A truly inspirational place and the people know how to get down.

I sing in electro act MULA.
You can find more MULA stuff and hear tracks and buy records on http://www.stompaphunk.com.

Find MULA on Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/mulaonmyspace

Here's our vid for COCAINE TALKING

My Interests

Sex and drugs and rock'n'roll are all my brain and body needs. Well along with my friends, modern art, fish & chips, bourbon, film, tiramisu, vinyl, coffee, my bed, Bolton Wanderers, guinness, the occult and ancient mythology, thai curries and putting the world to rights

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people with something to say. I also promote a couple of nights in Brighton called Horndog and Unkool. Any interested bands or DJ's on an electro tip please do get in touch.
Do not want to meet fakers or bigots of any race, creed or sex. If you have to pretend to be someone you're not or take your frustration out on other people because you hate your life, have small genitals or you never recieved any love as a child, you'll get no tea and sympathy here.
Do want to meet people who like to get funky...
.. width="425" height="350" ..

Who I would not like to meet:
this fertilized egg (well maybe just to give him a dry slap)

And this is why they don't notice. Compared to these cretins he looks like fucking Einstein!

Music:

Favourite lyrics ever are Subterranean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows" indeed! But everything from soul, funk, disco through rock and onto electro (old & new) and dance. Anything thats got emotion and style, from Johnny Cash to Toots and the Maytals, AC/DC to Parliament, Alexander Robotnick to Blackstrobe. Favourite singer has to be Al Green though, no matter how mad. In fact probably because.

Movies:

Classic Woody Allen, Marx Brothers and Peter Sellers. American werewolf in London, Withnail & I, Dead men don't wear plaid, Team America, Apocalyse Now, One flew over the cuckoos nest, Hearts And Minds, the original 1967 version of Bedazzled with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, Dig!, Factotum, Jeffrey Bernard is unwell, any Jim Jarmusch, Richard Linklater, Terry Gilliam and Christopher Guest stuff. Mainly comedies but with bitter/sweet life observations

Television:

Monkey Tennis,
Inner City Sumo.

Books:

Currently reading A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES (fantastic). I mainly read biogs of various badly behaved musicians, so i don't feel quite so guilty about my own lifestyle (and possibly pick up a few tips). Favourite has to be UNDER A HOODOO MOON, DR JOHNS biog which rocks not only because of the doctors life but also because of the musical history of New Orleans.

Heroes:

Dangerous territory as they either let you down or die before they get a chance to. Got to be a big shout out for JAMES BROWN though, inventing funk and all that. Could watch footage of him dancing all day, the man defies the laws of gravity. Breakin the law seems to be a habit that he's carried on into old age though. Also the inventor of the power shower (cleaning device, hangover cure and sexual aid!) creating surely one of mankinds greatest inventions. Bravo! NOAM CHOMSKY. If you haven't heard of him, Google his name, read, do yourself a favour.
