Josh Browns' Bio

Josh Brown was born in a small town in Western Massachusetts where he grew up listening to country music. All through grade school he took a greater interest in music and performing , he became involved in band and chorus and any other thing that would get his talents noticed. After graduation he became more interested in writing. He started doing writer's nights and open mics at the local bars outside UMass. He then went on to forming his own band and playing the country circuit in the area , he gained a large following that included a mailing list and newsletter for dedicated fans who went to every show. Soon he was asked to perform larger venues and fairs, where he gained more and more local recognition. Then with great encouragement from his friends, family and fan base, packed up and moved to Nashville in the spring of 2003, where he's been writing and playing writers nights and doing demo work, and has also made appearances at the bars on Broadway and the Blue Bird with rave reviews. He has a classic, pure country sound all his own, and has the drive and ambition to make it in the industry as a songwriter and artist.
