| This is the official CONSUME myspace site, created and maintained by the two members of CONSUME, Sloggy Ashter (guitars, voice, machines) and Dirtbody (bass guitar, voice, machines). CONSUME existed from 1996-1998. A band too good for it's own good, CONSUME were so far ahead of their time that the public couldn't grasp it. Mainly a studio effort, CONSUME did have some fame as the opening act for similar bands such as Neurosis, Napalm Death, Bloodlet, and Brutal Truth. Too many creative endeavors to contain in one band, CONSUME split up in 1998, to the dismay of their small but loyal fanbase. We, the men who were CONSUME, have decided that, although defunct, the music of CONSUME should be out there, available to all of you who are interested. This many years later, the music is still fresh, as there was never anything like CONSUME, nor will there ever be. Give it a listen, if you dare... |
