| Julia started taking piano lessons at the age of five. She graduated from Kent State University in May of 2008 with a degree of Bachelor's of Music Education with an emphasis in choral/general music and piano under the instruction of Dr. Jerry Wong.Julia has played for weddings, graduations, baccalaureate ceremonies, parties, dinners, church services, high school proms, music clubs, and has also had two solo recitals at Kent State University. She has been awarded superior ratings and has competed in various competitions. She can play a variety of styles of music and will gladly play what the listener desires.Julia also teaches piano lessons at Woodsy's Music in Kent, Ohio and gives private lessons outside. She has been giving private lessons since 2004 and has been teaching at Woodsy's since July 2005. She also plays for services at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in East Canton, Ohio.If you would like Julia to perform for your event or have any other questions/comments, you can contact her via email at jeweledmelodies@yahoo.com.
