| Reemerging in a better state of mind.... On the surface I am 29 years old living in Montclair. I graduated from college 7 years ago (wow!) with a business major and worked for prominent magazines in the city for about three years. Hated it - the city stresses me out - I was working for a paycheck. What made me happy was being around children and i decided to make a change. I got into teaching and I love it! I work with autistic children , and though at times frustrating - i love my kids and I take joy in them everyday - and laugh a whole lot more! I live in Montclair and prior to that in Hoboken. I love being able to walk around the block to get what I need and have become accustomed to it. My family and friends mean the world to me, even though at times challenging, they are my foundation. I tend to be a bit quiet and it takes me awhile to open up, but once I do its hard for me to shut up about and stop rambling about random nonsense.Under the surface I am still 29 but just beginning to get to know myself, the things that make me happy, trying to understand my emotions and feelings, and make sense of all the random thoughts that are in my head and have been repressed. Coming to terms with the fact that I may not be where I had anticpated by this time in my life, but attempting to figure out a new path for myself. living everyday to the fullest i am attempting to not let the little stresses get to me - it always seems to work out in the end. I am one big contradiction.... simple yet complex. Oh yeah and i think i have seasonal affective disorder.... | |
