Paul Waters began his musical career at the age of 14 in the small city of Iron Mountain Michigan, located in the upper peninsula of the state. Growing up he was influenced by a wide variety of genres, from Blues greats like Robert Johnson and BB King, to Classic hard rock groups of the sixties and seventies like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan. Paul Began performing live in clubs and bars at the age of 15 with performers in groups twice his age. When Paul was 18 he drove to Hollywood to further his musical career. After one year he secured a manager, and began writing dozens of songs while honing his own sound. The music is a twist of heart felt ballads, and catchy riffs, fueled by his powerful vocals. About two years later he discontinued his contract with his current manager and hired Marc Margolis, a well-known veteran manager of the industry. Within months he had the attention of numerous major labels throughout the world. Since then he has performed and recorded throughout the world with Grammy Winning Producers and Musicians. He has won many prestgious awards and has written and recorded soundtracks as well as collaborating with world renowned artists. In 2004 Paul Waters and long time friend and collaborator Jason Serfling, a world-renowned modern Classical pianist and songwriter, were offered a trip to Switzerland by a group of investors to record their debut album which later would go on to be called Rivergate. The record was written and recorded in the in less than two months at the world famous Hard Studios, located in Winterthur Switzerland. The music of Rivergate was born by the ingenious ideas of many talented musicians, and producers from around the world. The album is titled Rivergate Broken Moonlight and should be available for purchase in stores soon.He is currently on his way to the Islands of Hawaii to do a much awaited record, afterword embarking on a world tour.Paul Waters is the Originator of a recording process called "Unchained Melodies" The songs are completley created only AFTER the recording switch is hit, creating music that is pure in the moment, including the versus and Musical Compsitions themselves.
