These relentless sounds of tragedy, rampage and eeriness pump through the veins of a bold and fearless fiend, one of terrible and magnificent valor in the face of unseen enmity; a beast cruel in it's love and cold in it's hate. The beast in us all: A p o t h y s Having released a five song EP named Districtia Terra, Apothys is working hard to bring their first LP opus to fruition. A sonic threat, this new prodigy cannot yet be predicted, but will be announced once it is too late to turn back. In the meantime, Districtia Terra has been reviewed and received with darkened hearts and open arms. Overwhelmingly, the critics agree: this is a demo to be recommended and revered. The cover art, as rich and beguiling as the music contained, features a reminiscently autumnal panoply of red, orange, and yellow etching an antique and inverted Earth. Opening for acts such as Evergrey, Dope, Venom, Nevermore, and Suffocation, Apothys is the authentic and heavy sound that premier bands prefer, ranging from the most extreme metal genres to the most progressive. As much as people like to call Apothys 'death metal', they are only one step closer to the beast's true heart. It is very hard to place Apothys into a genre but the experts (the fans) favor a progressive denomination while acknowledging both the extreme and melodic celerity of the band's many talents. It is with each day and each show that Apothys is looked upon with increasing and growing interest. And it is in these mounting hearts that Apothys grows stronger.
