| The Rattleshakes are a 4 piece band just taking off in Glasgow. The band consists of brothers Jamie & Thomas Allison, their cousin John Mack and Franny Brannan. They have been together around 2 years now. There is nothing fancy about their songs, just raw rock and they like it that way............Jamie & Thomas grew up listening to music like Pink Floyd, Queen , The Beatles and The Rolling Stones....even when Jamie was around 5 he used to sing Frankie Miller songs when his family would have a get together. As they got older they started hanging around bars like the Scotia Bar and the Clutha Vaults and thats when they stumbled across a great Glasgow band called Ernest (check their music out under the name Gig Glasgow)....it was a great example on how it should be done! So they decided to get a band together...it started with Jamie, Thomas and John and now with Franny in they are complete.....so now they are in the process of going over all their material....keep a look out for them playing make sure you catch them at some point. The recordings/experiments are done in the loft...but they should be hitting a studio later in the year...so expect better recordings, big thanx to Ian (Eesky) Harkins for dealing with our sound, Steph, Amanda & Antonia for the photowork and all our families & friends who support us......we love you all. We have made some amazing friends on here...and we hope to make loads more so give us an add.
