They know who they are - others must wait and earn their status. Show and prove, son . . . show and prove.I DJ at WBER, 90.5 FM in Rochester, NY. I really enjoy the work and the experience of radio. Listener/fan interaction is by far my favorite part of the job.My musical tastes run the spectrum . . . really. I'm open to all kinds of new music but certainly have my fav's.That musical diversity lends itself to DJ'ing gigs outside of the radio station (something i started recently). I really friggin love it!! It's harder than I thought it would be. I mean, you ARE responsible for everyone's fun. That is also the reward . . . . . . . . and the sweet, sweet cash of course . . .I try to laugh a lot.My name (in addition to being a Simpsons reference) used to refer to my - ahem - aggressive ways. I have since made efforts to let that anger go. It was unneccessary and unwanted. The people around me shouldn't have to deal with that kind of junk. Besides . . . | I currently DJ at a Rochester radio station - 90.5FM WBER. I've been doing that for like four + years now (holy smokes! Has it been that long?) and it's a pretty sweet gig. You can listen to me on Wednesday nights from 8:00pm - 11:00pm Eastern, online at wber.org I enjoy playing sports - unfortunatley I'm also HYPER-competitive, which can make things more fun or entirely not fun depending on how things are going . . . but I am waaaaaay ok with just watching too . . . because I'm also lazy. | |
