Children of the Damned was formed in the fall of 2003. Made up of 5 local seasoned musicians, Children of the Damned delivers a rock solid performance that all new and old Maiden fans will enjoy! Formed by Brandon Raye (vocals) and Greg Young (drums) they decided to rekindle the old tribute from back in the early 90's. Adding in guitar master Alan Josephsen transforming himself to Dave Murray. Also thundering through the bass parts of Steve Harris is Eric Haven. Recently joined is new guitarist Scott Dashiell filling in the Adrian Smith spot.Building there set around all of iron maidens classics as well as delving into some of there more obscure songs. Children of the Damned pride themselves on sounding as close to their predecessors as possible. the goal of this band is to give people a visual as well as aural assault on there senses. Bringing them back to the heyday of the 80's metal revolution.After many shows around the bay area and further, Children of the Damned were invited to Billy Steels 107.7 the metal zone radio show. Playing their rendition of the songs Children of the Damned, and 22 Acacia Ave. Setting the stage for a massive show of heads at the Pound SF the following night. With union jack flag in hand, a bank of laser enhanced fog, obviously from the screaming horde of metal heads in front of them Children of the Damned are one of the most well received tributes around.From this point on you'll be hard pressed to find a band to represent the mighty Iron Maiden, as well as Children of the Damned.
