| Popsquali has been on Chicago's underground hiphop/ poetry scene for some time. He comes from the years in the 90's when hiphop was the shit. Navy and North Pier was the is to do on the weekends. Chances are that you've seen or heard this kid somewhere!!! I'm sayin, back when on tuesdays, we would host an open mic @ La Piazza... Where my old Dandelion Patch cats?!? When the Point was the chill, and Euphonics was throwing the jams... When cruisin on South Chicago was the late night spot... When No Limit sacks on federal was fattest dubs you could get in the city... lol Peanut Gallery 1997 was the official jump off... Later formed a collective Herbin Legendz... Pops have always kept busy, with his children books series (hoping to be published this year), poetry, music, theatre, and his latest belt buckle line.. Pops is a true Chicago talent, take notice and bear witness.. |
