| At a time where an overwhelming number of rap artists emerge everyday from the streets of Brooklyn now and then one comes along that truly captures the essence of the borough, the same borough that has produced the likes of Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. Nasean Joseph aka Sean Peru is up for the challenge of being the next artist from Brooklyn to make a significant imprint on the music industry. Born in the early eighties Peru like many didn't have much of a father figure in his life. This was due to his father being in and out of jail which untimely resulted into Peru being raised by the streets. The presence of music had always surrounded Peru from his grandfather who was involved in church to family get together. Peru started to attend local house parties where he would compete with the neighborhood talent. But it was until he moved to Canarise when Peru started to take his skill seriously. When Peru made the move to Canarsie his reputation followed he quickly gained respect and became the center of attention in his neighborhood and in 2002 this would untimely put him on a path that would lead him to link up with another emerging artist from Canarsie by the name of Frankie Krutches. Now at this time Krutches was starting his own label and was looking for new talent, after Peru was bought to his attention Krutch immediately seen that Peru was focused and his skills was sharp and quickly reached out to Peru and made him into a official member of C4 Records. Peru feels that he has what it takes to become a Hip-Hop icon and is ready for all challenges that may and will come his way. But like many artist that enter this music industry he wants his skills to open up other doors for him, Peru also wants to pursue an acting career and also enter the real estate market. This industry can be brutal and very unforgiving and Peru knows this and is determined and focused on his career and goal he has set out for himself. |
