| My grandfather was a romany gypsy in England, singing and playing his harmonica for anyone who would listen. My mom brought my brother and I up on Paul McCartney and Black Sabbath, and inspired us to love the arts. I always dreamed of being in the entertainment business. I found myself infatuated with the idea of traveling across the world dancing and singing. I wanted to be a "Solid Gold" dancer when I grew up. My professional career took me all around the world to Mexico, Spain, Italy, England, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and Malta. I was the lead Showgirl for the LIDO in Paris, and we toured all over the world. On a train, traveling from Vienna to Recklinghausen, Germany, I fell in love with writing down every thought and every dream on a piece of paper. This is when my passion for songwriting began, 8 years ago. I took a break for a couple years from showbusiness altogether, to enjoy normalcy. I only found myself feeling dead inside, without the passion of entertaining and creating. Today, I am surrounded by people in dance and music, who create and entertain, and love what they live for. | |
