A Psycho Voyage Through Hell 1995-2005 'A Psycho Voyage Through Hell' was formed a little over 10 years ago by Kosta Bayss (guitars) and Richard Chicoine (vocals/bass) in Montreal Canada. After numerous live shows in the late 90's and several demo's, the band called it quits in 2000 only to reform briefly in 2005 to record one final CD (a compilation of old songs re-recorded, as well as a few originals) and for two final shows. Lead songwriter Bayss was never truly happy with the recording process because third parties often had to be brought in, and more often then not, the technology to record the way he and Chicoine wanted to record was always out of reach. This, coupled with a difficulty finding like-minded individuals to play live shows (who would simply be 'stage musicians' with no part in any decision making or songwriting) made the entire process a massive pain in the arse. Bayss and Chicoine have remained friends, and have begun working on new material earlier this year to hopefully be released by Halloween 2008. The new project will not be titled 'A Psycho Voyage Through Hell'. UPDATE MARCH 21 2008 Richard Chicoine and Kosta Bayss to be joined by Denis Stoisin (Underflesh) for new upcoming project titled 'UNEARTHED ARCANA'. See link below to add the new MySpace page. |
