Eyes Wide Open loves great music. Be it garage, psych, freakbeat or rock'n'roll. We have have bands and guest DJs every month. Eyes Wide Open Club is on the first Friday of the month, at The Twisted Wheel (formerly RG's), 72 Queen Street.Some of our favourite bands to have played for us over the past three years are; the Soledad Brothers, Mr David Viner, Neils Children, The Urges, The Five Aces (formerly known as The Booglaoo Investigators) , Figure 5 , The Thanes, 10,000 Things, Nic Armstrong & The Thieves, Black Wire, The Come Ons, The Beep Seals and The Little Flames.The next EWO Club is on Friday 6th June, in the basement at The Twisted Wheel with Les Bof! playing live, plus the EWO DJs and special guests from London Uptight Tonight. 10pm - 3am, £5/4 NUS/with flyer. Coming up in 2008 we've also got these trips to DJ further afield planned... |
