| Hi, name name is Joseph Murphy. I used to play in some other bands, Olympics and Poirot . Currently I play in Kingdom Phylum . Aid started out as myself writing uninformed, simple songs in a small apartment. It has gone through many phases since then, with me experimenting with my computer, as well as assembling a backing band. At the current point in time, I'm not sure where it is - It's easier to say once it's past. I am working on new songs, and new recordings intermittently. I hope to have a release sometime soon. Here is a demo for you tentatively called "The River" . The songs "When?" and "Are Your Hands Too Full?" were both written in early 2007. Matt Fields also helped to write "When?". They were both entirely recorded by myself in my plaid bedroom, in Manhattan, KS. I hope to release them along with 8 other songs at some point, on an album titled Feather Death Crowns. You'll hear more about that when I know more. If things work out, sometime this Winter I would like to spend a week or so on tour with my brother, Brady Murphy - he plays his own music (which is very good) under the moniker Danger Stranger .
