| Crystal Castle is a band from Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. Our music takes life with influences from power, thrash and prog metal. Our first release October Hymns ( 2001) gave us the chance to play with awesome bands like: Blind guardian, Symphony x, Forgotten tales, Anvil, Anonymus, Moonlyght, Quo Vadis. The new cd (Armageddon inside) will be out sometimes this year._______________________________________________________

Crystal Castle est un groupe de Rimouski qui existe depuis maintenant 7 ans. Il a vu le jour par l'idée de trois musiciens : Éric Lechasseur (guitare), Jimmy Pouliot (guitare) et Philippe Harvey (vocal). Fondé au printemps 1999, le groupe est complété avec l'arrivé de Régis Grosset (basse) et Michel Gagnon (drums). Le départ de Michel et Éric, pour diverses raisons, permet l'entré en scène de Francis Marmen (ex-Gorelust, ex-Dragonlord et ex-Immortellys) et Jerome Bérubé ce qui comble les postes vacants. October Hymns, le premier album du groupe, fut composé et enregistré en l'espace de 1 an selon le principe du « do it yourself ». Lancé en décembre 2001, cet album permis au groupe de se produire avec les plus grands du power métal dont : Blind Guardian, Symphony x, Forgotten tales et Sonata Arctica. Ces concerts ont donné une visibilité inespérée. En octobre 2002, suite au départ de Jérome, Simon Laliberté complète la formation.
