I am Miss Great Britain, i was crowned after the public voted for me to replace the previous Miss GB, I made history and international news as i am the first ever Indian to have won the title. I am so delighted and its a great honor to bring home the crown. Thank you to everyone for your votes, nice messages and support. I look forward to being a good ambassador for Great Britain . Well i was born in middlesbrough on 29 september 1981 to two proud parents my mum Hema and dad Jitu, i have a younger sister Anjlee 21 who is a singer/Dancer/song writer. I went to St Augustins RC primary school in Coulby newham, then Nunthorpe School and then on to Middlesbrough collage where i did a 3 year course in Hair and Beauty, When i finished i was offered work to build up a new salon, then went on to manage it in a department store in Middlesbrough i also worked in another sister salon in Stocksley for 3 years till i decided it was time to move on. I was made partner after working 8 years in the family business G2 Fireworks, my mum and i run the retail side of the business and have a shop on Borough Road, Middlesbrough. I try to spend as much time as i can with the people i love, I love going out Socialising and partying, wining and Dining, Shopping, Going on holidays, I love being on the runway when i work on catwalk shows And love my little Yorkshire Terrier Charlie and German shepard Harley to bits...i miss them so much, charlie comes to stay with me all the time but harleys too big so he stays with my mum and dad back in Guisborough. |
